Bust A Groove is a rhythm game released on the PlayStation back in 1998 and helped the rhythm genre thrive with many more rhythm games to come. Originally, Bust A Groove was released under the name Bust A Move: Dance & Rhythm Action in Japan but due to Puzzle Bobble going under the name Bust A Move in North America and Europe, It was given the moniker Bust A Groove to avoid copyright. Since then, two other installments were released titled Bust A Groove 2 which came out on the PlayStation in 1999 and Dance Summit 2001 which was released on the PlayStation 2 in 2000.
